About
Sofia holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Genetics and an MRes in Integrative Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh. She is currently completing her PhD in Advanced Gene and Cell Therapies at KCL, developing pre-clinically a novel gene therapy approach for C9orf72-ALS/FTD. Recently, she joined the Pal lab, working as a Laboratory Technician processing samples for various molecular genetics studies, including Biojume. Before this, she was working for the UK Dementia Research Institute.
