The brand new CASTLE project website is up and running! CASTLE stands for ‘Changing Agendas on Sleep Treatment and Learning in Childhood Epilepsy.’ The CASTLE study is focused on rolandic epilepsy, which is the most common type of epilepsy – affecting about one-sixth of all children with epilepsy in the UK – that means over 10,000 people!
The project involves different work packages, one of which includes developing the first ever core outcome set for childhood epilepsy. This project is called CHOICE (Core Health Outcomes in Childhood Epilepsy) and is currently recruiting participants for an online survey. Please visit www.castlestudy.org.uk choice to find out more information. We are recruiting children with rolandic epilepsy, their parents and professionals that work with this group of children to take part.
