REGAIN in Barcelona, Sept 2017

Barcelona hosted the 32nd International Epilepsy Congress this year and our team was well represented in the venue. We discussed our latest findings on Developmental Coordination Disorder in rolandic epilepsy; impulsivity in juvenile myoclonic epilepsy; autism and intellectual disability in myoclonic-astatic epilepsy; and the integration of genomic medicine in the epilepsy clinic with hundreds of delegates from around the world. One of our joint posters on genetic mosaicism in rare childhood epilepsies with Rikke Møller and Line Larsen was awarded Best Poster prize.

We also were delighted to launch the REGAIN collaboration in a lovely rooftop restaurant above the Bull Ring with a great view of the illuminated fountains as dusk fell. Colleagues from Spain, Portugal and Italy joined us for a short presentation and long dinner. Many others weren’t able to make it but are now part of the consortium.
