We are delighted to announce that the DESIRE study: Strategies for Innovative Research to Improve Diagnosis, Prevention and Treatment in Children with Difficult to Treat Epilepsy, has been funded by the European Commission in the Framework 7 Programme on Health.

The €12m programme was launched in Venice in November 2013 and encompasses a number of studies on childhood epilepsy combining basic and clinical neuroscience – http://ec.europa.eu/research/health/medical-research/brain-research/projects/desire_en.html
