New publication in Epilepsy & Behaviour: Mapping epilepsy-specific patient-reported outcome measures for children to a proposed core outcome set for childhood epilepsy

By September 16, 2020October 1st, 2020Research News

We have published a brand new paper ‘Mapping epilepsy-specific patient-reported outcome measures for children to a proposed core outcome set for childhood epilepsy’ in the journal Epilepsy & Behaviour. The paper describes how the items from epilepsy-specific questionnaires of children’s health-related quality of life map to our recently developed ‘core outcome set’ for childhood epilepsy research.

A plain language summary of the work will be available soon.

The research article is an output from the Core Health Outcomes in Childhood Epilepsy (CHOICE) study which is the first work package of the Changing Agendas on Sleep Treatment and Learning in Epilepsy (CASTLE) NIHR funded study (www.castlestudy.org.uk). Holly Crudgington from the Pal Neuro Lab and CASTLE team is the first author of the paper.
