American Epilepsy Society 2020 Virtual Conference

Last week our team attended and presented two posters at the American Epilepsy Society 2020 Virtual Conference. This conference was attended by 4,600 individuals from 70 countries and was a great platform to share our work as well as learn about the latest research in the field of epilepsy.

Our first poster was presented by Holly Crudgington and displays work from Core Health Outcomes in Childhood Epilepsy (CHOICE) study, part of the CASTLE programme. This work has recently been published in Epilepsy & Behaviour (‘Mapping epilepsy-specific patient-reported outcome measures for children to a proposed core outcome set for childhood epilepsy).

Our second poster was presented by Amy Shakeshaft and displays the latest work from the Biology of Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (BIOJUME) Consortium. This work has also recently been published in Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology (‘Trait Impulsivity in Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy’).
