Anna joined the team in January 2022 as an Epilepsy Research Coordinator working on the BIOJUME, REGAIN, CASTLE and SHEENA studies and helping with the coordination of international sites.
In 2019 Anna joined the team as an intern while studying a master’s degree in Public Diplomacy at the University of Siena, in Italy. The internship focused on the study of an existing Research Advisory Group within the Clinical Neuroscience Department (NeuroRAG) with the aim of re-designing its structure and clarifying its role and remit within the department and the Hospital. She supported the research manager drafting the committee governance documents and establishing a clear feasibility review process of research studies, ensuring transparency and respect of governance regulations while improving ways of communicating between clinicians, researchers, and the NHS staff.
