About
Annalisa is a Child and Adolescent Neurologist and Psychiatrist, from the University of Bari, Italy. She joined the Deb Pal team at King’s College in November 2014, focusing on paediatric epilepsy as well as neurodevelopment and sleep disorders.
Her research has been aimed at testing the effects of sleep and sleep deprivation on executive functions, spatial memory and language in healthy children using innovative tools including iPad games. This kind of approach is now being evaluated in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders and Epilepsy.
